Church Ministry Coordinator (CMC)
Position Description
Purpose
To serve as the liaison between needs referred by Love INC and the appropriate church volunteer.
Responsibilities
1. Help church leaders prepare the church for outreach by planning a Love INC Sunday, identifying existing church ministries using the Church Resource Inventory, and implementing a talent tithe using an Individual Resource Inventory.
2. Receive referrals from Love INC and link them with the most appropriate church resource.
3. Refer needs to the Love INC Clearinghouse.
4. Keep the church and Love INC informed about the ministry.
5. Promote Love INC in the church.
6. Share volunteer best practices with church volunteers.
7. Encourage prayer support.
Qualifications
1. Lay person or paid church staff person.
2. Committed to Christian ministry.
3. Available to serve for at least one year.
4. Accessible during Love INC office hours.
Training
Training and ongoing support provided by Love INC.
Guarantee
Needs referred by Love INC are specific and manageable.
